Chocolate peanut butter banana bread is a perfect all time snack and can be enjoyed as breakfast or evening munchies with a cup of tea or coffee. It is very simple to make and gives the perfect blend of chocolate and peanut butter.

SERVINGS: 1 loaf

INGREDIENTS
• 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/3 cup brown sugar
• 1/3 cup white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 4-5 large ripe bananas, mashed
• 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour [or all purpose flour]
• 1/3 cup cocoa powder
• 1/4 cup peanut flour [99.9% sure this can be omitted if you don’t have it]
• 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 cup milk [I used vanilla almond milk, any kind will work]
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• Raw turbinado sugar for garnish

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.Now take a bowl and mix well flour, baking powder, cocoa, peanut flour, cinnamon and salt and keep it aside.

3.In a mixer add butter, peanut butter and sugar and beat until fluffy for about 3 minutes.

4.Add eggs, vanilla and bananas and mix well.

5.Now add all dry ingredients slowly and mix until well incorporated.

6.Stir in milk if the batter is not wet enough. Now add chocolate chips.

7.Now grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter.

8.Cover with coarse sugar and bake for 50 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
